Meet The Directors
Chris Smith
Chris Smith heads up operations at the company HQ in Manchester. His main roles in the company include that of account manager and creative director. He is also heavily involved in the development and expansion of the business with a keen interest in meeting new potential customers and suppliers, and in finding new markets.
Chris’s business philosophy centres on customer focus and he believes that the key to a successful business relationship is to communicate effectively with clients using more traditional means such as face-to-face meetings and telephone conversations.

Chris has been a part of Kudos Web Solutions since it first started in 2001 under the name Kudos Designs as a part-time summer venture. He spent the next four years at the University of York from which he graduated with an Electronic Engineering Masters in the summer of 2005.

Nick Woolley
Nick Woolley firmly believes technology holds the key to getting the most out of your business. He is the chief architect, and a strong believer, in commercial partnerships that have enabled less technically able businesses to prosper.
He is firmly technical with a degree from Oxford in Engineering Science, and is heavily involved in Kudos’ technological development. He has grown Kudos’ hosting into a robust efficient network, and has helped build an in house team of object oriented JAVA developers.
Recent work has taken him to successfully project managing a large consultancy project for local government. Leading a team of XML, JAVA and web service professionals has enabled the project to flourish and delivered radical technological change.
Like Chris he believes that face-to-face consultation is the best way to do business.
